When You Arrive and Leave:

• Sign in as soon as you arrive at rehearsals.
• Your parent or guardian must meet you in the foyer to sign you out before you leave.

During Rehearsals:

1. Dress for success! Wear comfy clothes, closed-toe shoes, and be ready to move.
2. Be on time. Arrive before 5:30pm so we can all start together.
3. Can’t make it or running late? Let a director know by email, text, or WhatsApp before rehearsals start.
4. Stay hydrated. It’s good for your brain, so bring a bottle of water with your name on it.
5. Tidy up after yourself. Keep our space clean and ready for everyone to enjoy.
6. Move safely and quietly around the Potato Shed. No running.
7. Take care of your script. Bring it every week and keep it safe!
8. Practice makes perfect! Rehearse your lines, songs, and dances at home. Get family or friends to help if needed.
9. Be open-minded. Listen to the directors and keep your character ideas flexible.
10. Stay active in scenes. Find something to do in every scene. We don’t just sit and talk—movement brings energy!
11. No mobile phones during rehearsals. Phones take focus away from the team.
12. Show respect to others. Don’t talk, text, or eat when someone else is rehearsing.
13. Stay switched on. Pay attention and know when it’s your time on stage.
14. Every role matters. Whether your part is big or small, you’re part of something amazing.
15. Share your ideas! We love creativity, but remember the directors make the final decisions.
16. Learn your lines by the “off book” deadline. Real character development can only begin after you know your lines.
17. Be helpful. Offer to lend a hand to make this production the best it can be.

• Attending weekly rehearsals.
• Attending all rehearsals in the final 4 weeks before show week.
• Letting us know by email before rehearsal night if you can’t attend.

We expect everyone to show respect. If you’re disrespectful, you’ll have three chances to improve before being asked to leave the group.
